IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Jessie Mae
Thomason
February 18, 1949 – November 21, 2025
Jessie Mae Thomason, of Springdale, passed away on November, 21, 2025. She was born to the late Dorothy and Clifton Blackwood on February 18, 1949 in Marshall, Arkansas. Jessie dedicated more than 30 years of her life to Walmart, spending the majority of that time at the Springdale #54 location. She worked in the garden center, and was always a friendly face. Jessie had a true green thumb and took great joy in nurturing plants, watching her flowers bloom. She also enjoyed spending her time with a good book. Though shy at first, Jessie had a way of opening up once she felt comfortable, revealing a thoughtful, warm-hearted woman. Those who knew Jessie remember her as soft-spoken, kind, and very thoughtful. She carried herself with a quiet warmth that made people feel welcome.
Jessie is survived by her daughter, Dannia King and Jonah Jasper of Springdale, Arkansas; sister, Paulia Tillman of Twin Falls, Idaho; brother, Clifton Don Blackwood and his wife, Beth of Ava, Missouri; nieces and nephews, Kyle Blackwood, Sarah Cox, Jessie Harris, Andrew Harris; one grandchild on the way along with numerous other family, friends, and loved ones.
Jessie will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her, and her memory will continue to grow in the hearts she touched.
