Jerry Lee Quarles, 79 of Pea Ridge, passed away July 11, 2026 in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. He was born to the late Lorenzo and Maggie Quarles on May 24, 1947 in Blytheville, Arkansas. Jerry proudly served his country as a Sergeant in the United States Air Force serving in Vietnam. He was married to Peggy ‘Beasley’ for nearly 20 years, before her passing in 2010. Jerry was a man who appreciated life's simple pleasures. He could often be found sitting in his garage with a cup of coffee or a cold beer, a cigarette in hand, watching Gunsmoke or one of his favorite westerns. He found comfort in those quiet moments and enjoyed the familiar stories of the Old West. He was a proud member of the Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association, Chapter 7-2, where he was known by his road name, "Papa." The name fit him well, as it was not only how fellow riders knew him, but also what many of his beloved grandchildren called him. Jerry loved picking up his Granddaughters and going on weekend trips or just hanging out with them at his house. He never missed an award ceremony at their school and was so proud of them and all their accomplishments. Jerry was a member of the Rogers VFW Post 3031. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Peggy Quarles; brother, Jessie Quarles; daughters, Jamie White, Danita Vaughn; and grand-daughter, Jasmine Quarles. He is survived by his sons, Michael Eric Quarles of Dallas, Texas, Justin Lee Quarles and Haja of Citrus Heights, California, Jeremy Keith Quarles and Kelly of Gentry, Arkansas; grandchildren, Connor Quarles, Lindsay Quarles, Violet Quarles, Ivy Nelson and Keaton, Michelle Quarles, Aubrey Quarles; 5 great grandchildren; sister, Shirley Marino of Cincinnati, Ohio; his neighbors, the Quam Family; and many other relatives, fellow veterans, and loved ones.
