Jeffrey (Jeff) Reece entered the gates of Heaven at the age of 59, with his siblings, best friend and nephews present during his passing via Zoom and teleconference.  He was being treated at Regency Hospital in Springdale, Arkansas and died just before noon on May 20 ^th , 2021, resulting from complications related to pneumonia.

Jeff was born to Clarence Logan Reece and Donna Jean (Perdue) Reece on August 22, 1961, in Gravette, Arkansas. He loved his family whole heartedly and was survived by a daughter, Jillyann Renee. He was the fourth of six children.  Sisters:  Vicki Ghunaim and Lori Browning of Tulsa, OK; Shelly Whitson (Rick) of Kuna, Idaho/Yuma, Arizona; Karen Reed of Tahlequah; a brother, Johnson Reece of Grove, OK; and his father, Logan Reece of Southwest City, MO.  Jeff was preceded in death by his mother, Donna.  His best friends, George Michael Frye and Cindy were always there for Jeff.  He was adored by a large extended family in the area, and, numerous nephews and nieces that admired him as a testament of his strength, love, perseverance, and unwavering faith.

Jeff graduated from Jay High, Jay, OK in 1979.  He became a quadriplegic after enduring a serious diving accident when he was 20 years old.  Before his hospitalization, he resided independently at his home on the Southwest City side of Oklahoma prior to his death. Jeff always had a beautiful voice and enjoyed recording his songs which will be played during his September memorial service at Southwest City, MO, location pending.

Jeff was cremated and his ashes will be spread following the Celebration of Life memorial service planned later in September to enable his family and friends, near and far to attend.  The venue and details of these arrangements will be announced two weeks prior.

Jeff will forever be in our hearts and sorely missed.  Heaven was calling him home.
