Janet Jean Tackett, 80 of Springdale went to be with her Lord, December 13, 2024. She was born December 22, 1943 in Noel, Missouri the daughter of Jesse C. Walden and Madeline Watson Walden. She was employed by the University of Arkansas in the admin department for over 20 years. She loved sewing, volunteering at Shilo Museum, spending time with her family and crafting. She was of the Baptist faith and was preceded in death by her parents, a brother and a sister.

Survivors include her sons, Travis and wife, Crystal Tackett of Van Buren, AR, Brett Tackett of Fayetteville; brothers, Joe Walden, Mickey Walden and Danny Walden; sister, Kathy Lane and 2 grandchildren, Danica and Layla Tackett.

Funeral service will be Saturday, December 21, 2024 at 11:00AM in the Chapel of Memorial Funeral Home with Minister Josh Wolf officiating. Burial to follow in Friendship Cemetery. The family will receive fiends from 10AM till service time on Saturday at Memorial Funeral Home.
