James Alston, 65 of Lowell died Saturday, October 26, 2019. He was born October 1, 1954 in Shirley, Arkansas the son of Joseph Alston and Inez Williams Alston. He was employed by Apex Tools for 34 years as a forge hammer operator. He loved to hunt and fish.

Survivors include his wife of 35 years, Connie Alston of the home; sons, Mark Alston of Siloam Springs, Sgt First Class Joseph Alston of Las Cruces, New Mexico; daughter, Lorrie Bayles of Tontitown; sisters, Diane Powell of Lowell, Edna Cruse of Johnson, and 4 grandchildren.

Funeral service will be 10:00AM, Tuesday, October 29, 2019 at the Chapel of Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Elm Springs Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7PM on Monday.
