It is with deep sadness we share that Jacquelyn "Jackie" Marie Benson, age 90, of Springdale, Arkansas, passed away October 31, 2022.

Jackie was born April 14, 1932, Boise, Idaho, and, also lived in California. In 1950, she married Samuel Philip Benson. They moved from California to live in Florida until 1966, and then continued their lives together in Springdale, Arkansas.

She worked ten years for Charlesworth Pontiac as an office manager and bookkeeper; a brief time with Atech Appliance, and taught kindergarten.

Jackie had a giving spirit and kind heart, which she exemplified by loving her family and God. She was spiritual woman who enjoyed reading her bible and teaching Sunday school, along with giving her time to the church youth groups and the First Baptist Church Bus ministry.  Jackie's family and serving her church were always priority during her life- she deeply loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren and enjoyed any chance to "grandmother brag" about them.

Jackie was a gifted seamstress and loved designing clothes for her family. She was a talented folk-art painter and enjoyed floral arranging, along with reading- particularly mystery books. Traveling with the Cross Church senior group brought her joy as well.

Joining Jackie in heaven are her parents, Walter E. Baker and Alta M. Baker, husband, Samuel Philip Benson.

Jackie is survived by her children: Jeanne M. Stucky, Centerton, AR; Kathy Simpson and husband, Paul, Springdale, AR; Candy Callich and husband, Greg, Springdale, AR; Walter Benson and wife, Shelly, Lowell, AR; Grandchildren: John Philip Stucky, Rogers, AR; Kevin Simpson and wife, Heather, children, Anna, Micah, Sophia and Josiah, Uxbridge, MA; Melissa (Simpson) Classen and husband Curtis, Oklahoma City, OK; Brandy (Callich) Mitchell, and husband, Allen, children, Blaine and McKenzie, Springdale, AR; Cherry (Callich) Robinson and husband, Nathan, and children, Lydia and Myla, Springdale, AR; Brittany (Callich) Greer and husband, Brad, and children, Braxton and Boston, Decatur, AR; Chad Benson and wife, Kathryn, children, Eden and Isaiah, Little Rock, AR; Caleb Benson and wife, Emily, children, Charolette and Ashley Thompson, Lowell, AR; Shane Benson and wife, Karley, children, Anna and Millie, Springdale, AR.

Our appreciation to the medical team at Mercy Hospital, Rogers AR, for their care, and special gratitude to the compassionate, and dedicated doctors and nurses with Willard Walker Hospice, Fayetteville, AR.

Funeral service will be 11:00AM, Saturday, November 5, 2022, at Memorial Funeral Home, Springdale, AR.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00pm Friday at Memorial Funeral Home.
