Jackie Wayne Blakemore age 58, of Springdale, Arkansas, passed away on December 28 ^th , 2020. He was a lifelong resident and attended Springdale High School.  He was born August 12, 1962 in Springdale, Arkansas the son of the late Jack and Lola Welkey Blakemore. He is also preceded in death by his brother Jimmy Blakemore. Jackie is survived by Roxy Blakemore Cook, Shannon Cook, great niece Lola Cook and great nephew Trevor Cook, Kathy Blakemore, Nick Wright, and several aunts and cousins. Jackie leaves many dear friends, that were his extended family. Jackie was loved by all that knew him, he had a heart of gold and would give anyone the shirt off of his back.

His greatest passion in life was his music and he was a wonderful musician and singer. He was always singing. His Aunt Sue Sizemore taught him a few chords and that was it, he was hooked for life. His music was a blessing to him but also to others. He was in a couple of local bands and he played at all family gatherings and social events. He once said that there is always a song playing in my head. It would then drip out of his mouth like honey. His talent was a pure gift from God.

This compassionate man will be missed by all, but we have to acknowledge that he is at peace and rejoicing with his Mother and Brother whom he missed terribly. So, go Rest High On That Mountain, In The Sweet By and By. We are sure that you will meet that Great White Buffalo, you might even be Ten Feet Away. We know that you have a Home in Glory Land and We Will Always Love You, Forever and Ever Amen Jackie Wayne Blakemore.

Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Memorial Funeral Home of Springdale. A memorial service will be held at a later date by the family.
