Imogene Humphreys, age 86, of Springdale, died April 11, 2016, in Springdale. She was born September 18, 1929, in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, to the late Herman Carey and Ethel Orton Lackey. She worked in child care for over 50 years and was a member of Berry Street Baptist Church. She was a member of the Fleet Reserve Association. She was preceded by one brother, Eddie Ray Lackey, and three grandchildren.

Mrs. Humphreys is survived by her husband of 54 years, Kenneth Humphreys, of the home; three daughters: Debbie Matney and her husband, Pat, of Rogers, Arkansas, Karen Meleo and her husband, Frank, of Redondo Beach, California, and Rita McCoy and her husband, Jerry, of Springdale, Arkansas; six grandchildren: Renee Holmes, Leslie Daniels, Trisha George, Kimberly Meleo, Kristina Meleo and Zack Hall; six great grandchildren

Funeral services will be Thursday April 14, at 10:00 A.M. at Memorial Funeral Home, 3926 Willowood Ave. Springdale, Arkansas 72762 with Pastor Richard Perry and Pastor John Smedley officiating. Visitation will be from 9:00 A.M. until service time. Burial will follow at Friendship Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jonathan Daniels, Jerry McCoy, Matt Holmes, Zack Hall, Pat Matney and Frank Meleo.
