Hiron Delmar Knight, age 89, of Springdale, went to be with the Lord, December 12, 2015, in Springdale, Arkansas. He was born July 14, 1926 in Coy, Arkansas, the son of Rufus and Lillie Moore Knight.

He was a member of Cross Church in Springdale and was a retired personnel manager for Tyson Foods, Inc. Mr. Knight served in the United States Navy and was a graduate from the University of Arkansas. He enjoyed traveling, floating rivers, watching the Razorbacks play ball, especially the basketball team, and Friday night fishing trips with his friends.

Mr. Knight is survived by his wife of 63 years, Meda Knight, of the home; one son, Patrick Thomas Knight (Nellie), of Clarksville; one daughter, Teri Vermeulen (Don), of Springdale; five grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.

He is proceeded in death by his parents; one son, Ted Franklin; one daughter, Janet Sue; one brother, and one sister.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 15, 2015, at Memorial Funeral Chapel officiated by Rev. Charlie Foster. Interment will follow at Friendship Cemetery.
