Helen Strassberger-Huntsinger was Born in Troy, New York on March 22, 1941, to Helen M. Heim and Frank S. Strassberger, she was 82 when she passed peacefully on September 17th, 2023 in Springdale, AR. She previously lived in Tucson, AZ, Bishop, CA and Fresno, CA. Elfriede worked at Northern Inyo Hospital as a Radiologic Technologist for years, when she moved to Fresno, CA where she retired from St. Agnes Medical center. Returning to Bishop to be near her grandchildren and many friends. In 2011 moving to Tucson, AZ. She loved being around family and friends, fishing, hunting, camping, everything outdoors. We have been  blessed with many incredible memories that, in many ways, she made possible.

Elfriede is survived by her three sons: Vernon W. Huntsinger (Thousand Oaks, CA), Anthony W. Huntsinger (Montgomery, TX), and Matthew E. Huntsinger (Springdale, AR), and nine grandchildren: William, Morgan, and Daniel, Alesha, Patrick, and Carly, Montana, Chase, Matthew, and Lily, and three great-grandchildren.

Memorial Funeral Home handled the cremation arrangements.  The family will have private services at a later date.
