Hazel Marie Werda went to be with her Lord, Saturday February 16, 2019 in Springdale. She was born July 7, 1948 in Huntsville, Arkansas the daughter of Louis Burks and Goldie Parker Burks. She was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church and was preceded in death by 2 sons, Terry and Gary Smith and sister, Mary Ann Burks Foshee.

Survivors include her husband of 20 years Raymond Werda of the home; sisters, Wanda Tolbert of Cassville, MO, Janice Milner of Springdale; brother Loy Burks of Springdale; 7 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be 10:00AM, Thursday, February 21, 2019 at the Chapel of Memorial Funeral Home 3926 Willowood Ave., Springdale. Burial will follow in the National Cemetery in Fayetteville, Arkansas. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7PM on Wednesday, February 20, 2019 at Memorial Funeral Home.
