Harold Dean Gooden, 85, of Springdale, Arkansas, went to be with the Lord June 06, 2019. He was born December 24, 1933 in Damascus, Arkansas, the son of the late Homer and Dorothy Glover Gooden. He had served in the United States Army and was a member of the Robinson Avenue Church of Christ.

Harold is survived by his wife of 62 years, Nancy Gooden, of the home; sons: Harold Dean Gooden, Jr. of Fayetteville, Arkansas, Stephen Gooden of Springdale, Arkansas, Adam Gooden of Van Buren, Arkansas; daughters: Cheryl White and husband, Joe, of St. Peters, Missouri, Crystal Gooden of Springdale, Arkansas; sister, Francis Edwards and husband, Jim, of Damascus Arkansas; eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, June 11, 2019 in the chapel of Memorial Funeral Home 3926 Willowood Avenue Springdale, Arkansas 72762 with Harry Fitzgerald and Keith Kilmer officiating. Burial will follow with military honors in the National Cemetery in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. until service time on Tuesday.
