Ferguson, Sr. and Jane Gasparini Ferguson.  He is preceded by a sister, Beverly Seay, and a brother, Ronnie Ferguson. During Harold's 21 years in the Air Force, he bravely served in the Korean and Vietnam Wars.  He was also a member of the 21 st Troop Carrier Squadron (also known as the BEEliners) where they flew soldiers for a much needed RNR from Korea to Japan.  While stationed at Bentwaters AFB, Harold served as a member of the 67 th Aerospace Rescue & Recovery where they rescued pilots from the North Sea and trained to locate and rescue astronauts in the event of an aborted mission.   Harold's bravery and heroism earned him multiple decorations including the Distinguished Flying Cross, Air Force Commendation Medal, Air Medal, Air Force Good Conduct Medal, President Unit Citation, Gallant Unit Citation, Korean Service Campaign, and two Vietnam Service Campaign medals. When Harold retired in 1974 as a TSgt., he moved his family to Northwest Arkansas where he went to work for the Arkansas Department of Transportation as a surveyor.  Harold was on the crew that built the first Interstate in Northwest Arkansas which is now known as I49.  When Harold retired from the State, he started a much-loved hobby of competing in obedience and agility trials with miniature schnauzers.  Harold's dogs earned multiple first place showings and national awards, including the 1999 Purina National Agility Championship.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Geraldine Stroud Ferguson, of the home; one son, Jerry Ferguson and his wife, Toni, of Springdale, Arkansas; three daughters: Gail Willey and her husband, Terry, of Ozark, Missouri; Judy Lewis and her husband, Steve, of Lowell, Arkansas and Trish House of Springdale, Arkansas; and four grandchildren.
