Harold Hiram Drenth, 98 of Bentonville, Arkansas passed on Tuesday, April 27,2021 at Circle of Life Hospice in Bentonville, Arkansas. He was born February 8, 1923 in Boyden, Iowa the son of Alex and Anna Drenth. He was a graduate of Moody Bible Institute and Hoaghton College and spent over 40 years in full time ministry where he was the pastor of 7 different churches in 18 states. During his time in the ministry, he went on 6 mission trips, headed 5 church building programs, and served as a moderator for 3 Baptist Associations. He also was clerk of 4 Baptist Associations in Virginia, as well as serving on the North American Baptist Mission Committee. He was fascinated with engineering and loved collecting, repairing, and restoring antique clocks. He was known for his outgoing personality and witty sense of humor. In addition to his parents, he is preceded by his wife of 55 years, Janice Drenth; 2 sons Timothy and Darold Drenth; brothers Don and Ervin Drenth.
Mr. Drenth is survived by his sister, Louise Noll of Luverne, MN; Orville Drenth of Rock Rapids, IA; Stanley Drenth of Sioux Falls, SD; Daughter Karen (Roger) of Prairie Grove, AR; son Alex (Tammi) Drenth of Indianapolis, IN; 4 grandchildren, Rodney (Lisa) Roling of Cabot, AR; Robert (Missy) Roling of Little Rock, AR; Jennifer (Matt) Randall of Greenwood, IN; Cathy Drenth of New York, NY; Great- grandchildren LaShainea (Rob) Pollander; Cody (Maddie) Roling; Tim (Becca) Roling; Oliver Roling; Lucas Roling; Graham Randall; Step great-grandchildren Brandi Goforth; Josh Byrd; Great-great-grandchildren Grayson Pollander; Cade Roling.
Funeral services will be 10:00AM. Friday, April 30, 2021 at First Baptist Church in Lincoln, AR; officiated by Pastor Randy Magar with visitation being held from 9:00am – 10:00am and under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home of Springdale, Arkansas. A graveside service will be Wednesday, May 5, 2021 at Chapel Hill Memorial Park in Jacksonville, AR at 10:00AM.
