George W. Schatz, 66, of Springdale, Arkansas, passed away on October 13, 2026, at his residence.
He was born September 27, 1960, in Moline, Illinois, to George W. Schatz and Geraldine Chrisenberry. He moved to the Springdale area from Indiana in 1985 and lived there for the rest of his life. He worked as a laborer in construction.

He married Debi A. Schatz (Riggins) on September 9, 2017, at their home in Springdale. George enjoyed bingo, watching Judge Judy and wrestling on TV, fishing, and bull riding. He always wanted to be a bull rider and especially loved spending time with his kids and grandkids. He regularly watched church services on television.

He is survived by his wife, Debi; children Falisha Schatz of Terre Haute, Indiana, John Green of Springdale, Barbara Green of Terre Haute, Indiana, Destiny Schatz of Adair, Oklahoma, and Sarai Graffenstein of Locust Grove, Oklahoma; stepchildren Tasha Hawkins of Fayetteville, AR, Kari Anne Riggins of Springdale, AR, Michael Mullinax of Fayetteville, AR, and Arrow McKinnon of Rogers, AR; siblings Chuck Schatz, Lisa Fugate, Lester Leroy Schatz, Tom Schatz, Brian Schatz, and Barbie Schatz; 9 grandchildren in Indiana, 5 grandchildren in Oklahoma, and 12 grandchildren of Northwest Arkansas; and 4 great-grandchildren in Indiana. He was preceded in death by his parents.
