Everett ‘Scott’ Hudson of Bella Vista, Arkansas passed away on August 4, 2026. He was born in San Bernardino, California on October 9, 1954. Scott was a jack of all trades whose creativity shaped every chapter of his life. He had two bachelors’ degrees, one in art, and another in business, as well as an associate’s degree in culinary arts. He was also appointed in the 1990’s to the Arkansas Manufactured Homes Commission as a commissioner by then Governor Mike Huckabee. Although he enjoyed drawing, his greatest artistic passion was sculpting with clay, where his creativity truly came to life. Scott was humble and kind, generous to all those in his life. Family was at the heart of Scott's life. As a young man, he enjoyed playing the cello and bass alongside his siblings. From an early age, Scott had a sharp business mind. His siblings, and him, were sent to school with peanut butter and pickle sandwiches. Scott would trade with his classmates for their lunch money, just so he could have the cafeteria lunch from time to time. That ingenuity followed him throughout his life. During his many years with the United States Postal Service, he developed a program capable of reading handwritten ZIP codes, helping organize mail more efficiently. Scott was equally talented with his hands as he was with his mind. He even built his own two-story cabin, hiring his brothers to help with the construction. The time they spent working side by side became a treasured memory for them all. His brothers and sisters remember him not only as a loving sibling but also as a mentor who taught them responsibility, practical skills, and valuable life lessons. Humble, kind, and generous, Scott was always willing to share his knowledge and lend a helping hand to those around him. For the past 14 years, Scott shared his life with Linda Dart. Though they never married, they were perfect partners in every sense of the word. Together they owned and operated the Café Seligman and Saloon, building both a business and a life filled with fond memories. He was proceeded in death by his father, Harold Hudson; and brother, Edward Hudson.

Scott is survived by his mother, Deborah Baker and Alan, of Springdale, Arkansas; partner, Linda Dart, of the home; sister, Kathleen Clark and Charles, of Harrison, Arkansas; brothers, Ralph Hudson and Melva, of North Little Rock, John Hudson and Tammy Campbell, of Harrison, Arkansas, Dale Hudson of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; half-sister, Nichole Walker; half-brother, Kirk Bocksberger; and numerous nieces and nephews

Scott's creativity, generosity, and wisdom touched the lives of everyone who knew him. He will be deeply missed and remembered by his family and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
