IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Eula Lea
Kilpatrick
July 23, 1945 – September 10, 2024
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Eula Lea Kilpatrick, 79, on September 10, 2024 at Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale, AR. Eula Kilpatrick was born on July 23, 1945 in Springdale, AR. Eula was a supremely skilled seamstress which showed in her many projects made for her children and grandchildren. When she wasn't sewing or cooking up a delicious meal for her family, Eula liked to watch old Western movies with her husband Lee. She was an experienced hunter's wife and looked forward to October every year. Her grandchildren will tell you there isn't a chef in the world who could even come close to recreating her famous biscuits and gravy; which were always available on Saturday mornings (even to those who had already had one breakfast). Family and friends could always count on her to provide wise counsel when they needed to hear it the most. Eula served our Lord as a member of Brush Creek Baptist Church in Springdale and also attended the Corner Post Cowboy Church of Siloam Springs. Her unwavering faith was evident to all who crossed her path. If ever a prayer was needed, Eula was the one to reach out to as one of God's most devoted prayer warriors. One of the last things Eula said was "make sure everyone knows how grateful to God we are".
She is survived by her husband of 18 years James Lee Kilpatrick; 4 loving daughters and their husbands, Jan & Ron Yates of Clifty, Glinda & Kenny Avey of Tontitown, Teresa & James Luney of Tontitown, Miranda & Frank Taylor of Elm Springs; 2 stepdaughters, Kay Kilpatrick of Tuskahoma, OK & LeeAnna Kilpatrick of Clayton, OK; 18 Grandchildren and 36 Great-grandchildren who will never forget the love and joy she brought to their lives. She was preceded in death by husband of 45 years Marion "Jim" Lee Kilpatrick Jr; father Lon McGarrah; mother Ruby Marie Hite McGarrah; brother, William McGarrah; sister Lucille McCarty; and stepson Eddie Kilpatrick.
Visitation for friends and family will be at Memorial Funeral Home in Springdale, AR on Tuesday, September 17th from 4-6 PM. Funeral services will be at Memorial Funeral Home in Springdale, AR on Wednesday, September 18th at 10 AM. Graveside service and interment at Sunset Cemetery in Winslow, AR to follow.
