Edward Lane Stevens, 71 of Fayetteville went to be with his Lord Sunday, March 10, 2019 in Fayetteville. He was born July 12, 1947 in Austin, Texas the son of LaVern Stevens and Grace LaZane Witt Stevens. He severed in the US Navy during the Vietnam Era. He received two Bronze Stars and a Purple Heart during his time served.

Survivors: wife, Perla C. Stevens, of the home; sons, Peter C. Stevens of Fayetteville, Timothy Lane Stevens (Donna) of Evansville, IN., Donald Lee Stevens of Little Rock, AR, David Alan Stevens of Mt. Vernon, IN., Kenny Wayne Mason, III (Catina) of Columbus, KS; daughter, Linda Carolyn Stevens-Kincheloe (Paul) of Evansville, IN; brother, Bobby Zane Stevens (Ronda) of Idaho Falls, ID; sister, Starlet Dell Stevens-Caldwell (Bill) of Salus, AR and 8 grandchildren; Timothy L. Stevens, Jr., Andrew Stevens, Dylan Stevens, Mallory Brooke Stevens, Alyssa Ann Stevens, Chance B. Kincheloe, Heather Mason and Tylra Mason.

Funeral service with full military honors will be 11:00 AM, Friday, March 15, 2019 at National Cemetery in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
