IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Edward Earl
Greening
November 17, 1950 – January 8, 2021
Edward Earl Holderfield Greening, 70
"Big Ed" left his earthly home on January 8, 2021 to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ and his beloved family and friends who had gone on ahead. He was born Nov. 17, 1950, in Little Rock, to Eddie and Naomi (Gross) Holderfield, but was later adopted by his step-father Philip Greening. During Ed's lifetime he loved playing baseball, riding motorcycles and spending time with friends and family. He owned Top Line Billiards in the 1970's, worked as a mechanic and finally ended up as a Sr. Mechanical Designer, but the thing that he loved most was being a disc jockey. He loved entertaining people and making them laugh. He was a DJ at the Train Station, Bobbisox, on Radio and for several years ran Big Ed's DJ Service. He also owned Roadhouse Cycle in Conway, AR. Before he left us, for paradise, he authored a book The Unveiling.
Ed was a big man with a big heart and a big sense of humor. He was a cherished husband to, his wife, Tammie for 35 years. He was a wonderful father to his children: Holli Greening, Raven Williams (Mike), Mason Greening, and Hunter Skogen (Levi). He leaves one grandchild: Sierra Davis (Clayton). He will always be missed, but our memories of him leave us with a smile. We did not lose him because we know where he is.
Ed's family has chosen a private ceremony and interment. Memorials may be made to the Kidney Foundation. Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Memorial Funeral Home, 3926 Willowood Avenue, Springdale, Arkansas 72762. Online condolences may be made to www.memorialfhspringdale.com
