Doris Lorraine Jacklin, 93, of Springdale, Arkansas, went to be with the Lord August 23, 2019. She was born April 15, 1926 in Minneapolis, Minnesota, the daughter of the late Carl and Minerva Johnson Hokanson. Doris was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Lowell and had worked as a church secretary for many years. She enjoyed gardening, singing, baking and knitting but most of all she loved her family and spent her life putting their needs before her own. She will be loved and missed by them all. She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Jacklin; and sons, David and Scott Jacklin.

She is survived by her daughter Cathy Brown and her husband Richard of Springdale, Arkansas; grandchildren, Rick, Angela, Lori, Rob and Chrissy; fourteen great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Monday, August 26, 2019 from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Memorial Funeral Home 3926 Willowood Avenue Springdale, Arkansas 72762. Funeral services will be at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday August 27, 2019 at Grace Lutheran Church, 415 N. 6th Place Lowell, Arkansas 72745 with Pastor Charles Huebner officiating, under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will be private. Pallbearers will be Dan Jacklin, Dylan Kelley, Dustin Mapes, Noah Parker, Cameron Jacklin and Pat Jacklin.
