Don Franklin Wentz, age 76, of Golden City, Missouri, passed from this life to be with the Lord Jesus Christ on Saturday, July 10, 2021 at Willard Walker Hospice Home in Fayetteville, Arkansas.  He was born in Springdale, Arkansas on October 7, 1944 to Mary Weber Wentz and Keith Wentz, Sr.  After graduating from University High School in 1962, he joined the United States Air Force serving in the field of crypto intelligence. For nearly fifty years Don was a faithful adherent of biblical Christianity under the ministry of Berachah Church in Houston, Texas, and he was always eager to share the gospel of faith in Christ alone with those whom he came into contact.  In addition to his parents, Don was preceded in death by his brothers Keith Wentz, Jr., Carrol Wentz, Carl Wentz, and Kennith (Brenda) Wentz.

He is survived by his children David (Andrea) Wentz, Wendy (Jason) Barnes, Misty (John) McCulley; grandchildren Sophie (Mark) Simon, Joseph McCulley, Maddie (Blake) Rudolph, Tyler Barnes; great-granddaughter Frances Simon; siblings Doris Treat, Barbara (Gene) Neil, Gary (Donna) Wentz, Terry (Paula) Wentz.

Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Memorial Funeral Home, 3926 Willowood Avenue, Springdale, Arkansas 72762 with inurnment at Fayetteville National Cemetery. Special thanks to Avalon Hospice of Carthage, Missouri and Willard Walker Hospice Home of Fayetteville, Arkansas.
