Dennis Leroy Hoff, 73 of Joplin, MO passed peacefully surrounded by family, Thursday, January 15, 2026, at the Veterans Home in Fayetteville, AR. He was born August 1, 1952 in Forest City, IA the son of Sylvester Hoff and Carol Goslin Hoff. He was employed by the Joplin Humane Society for several years. He was a US veteran having served in the US Army and later the US Marines. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Michael Hoff and a sister, Rebecca Hoff.

Survivors include brothers, David Hoff and Daniel Hoff; sisters, Pat Hoff, Susan Sampson, Sandra Beyer and Mary Patrick; 5 nephews, 2 nieces, 3 great nephews, 6 great nieces and 2 great great nieces.

Memorial Funeral Home handled the cremation arrangements. The family will be handling his memorial service at a later date.
