Debi Pennington was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, sister, and friend. She entered heaven on November 21, 2020 at age 64. After graduating from high school, Debi joined the US Navy where she met her husband. Together, they had 2 children and were married for 42 years.  After serving in the Navy, Debi graduated nursing school and became a pediatric nurse where she devoted her life to the care and nurturing of children for over 20 years. She immensely enjoyed the relationships she developed with patients and families over the years. Her commitment to her patients and fellow staff was limitless. Debi loved shopping, arts & crafts and scouting out new recipes. She also cherished spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband Eugene "Butch" Pennington and daughters Heather Brawner, Angie Fuschi (Andrew); her father Harold Blake; her sister Patty Powell; her brother Jackie Blake (Cathy); nieces Aftin, Kristen (Guy), Megan (Jeremy), and Mirissa; nephews Christopher (Olivia) Jacy (Anna); and three grandchildren Landon, Corbin, and Kennedy.  She is preceded in death by her mother Dorothy Mosteller.

A memorial service is scheduled for 1 PM on Friday, November 27, 2020 at the Memorial Funeral Home located at 3926 Willowood Ave, Springdale, AR. Debi will later be interred at the Fayetteville Veterans Cemetery in a private ceremony.
