Obituary

David Walter Williamson, 68, of Springdale, AR, formerly from Magnolia, passed away peacefully on April 4, 2021, at Northwest Medical Center surrounded by his family. David was born in Magnolia, AR, on September 20, 1952, to the late Francis Marie and Charles Walter (CW) Williamson. David was full of humor and knew how to make others laugh or simply put a smile on their face. He played basketball for the Magnolia Panthers and enjoyed playing as an adult. He was an avid fisherman, hunter and provider for his family, whom he loved dearly. He loved watching all sports and supported the Dallas Cowboys, no matter how many times they disappointed him. He worked for Shinn Wholesale and The ICEE Co. as a distributor for the South Arkansas Region.

He is preceded in death by his sister Felesia Roberson, brother Harland Williamson and son David Lee Williamson. He is survived by his daughters, Tracy Williamson (Randy Jackson) granddaughter Colette (CoCo) of Dallas, TX; Ashley Williamson, granddaughters Elisabeth and Emma of Magnolia, AR; Jennifer Bolick (Justin) grandchildren Taylor and Gavin of Alexander, AR; brother Charley Williamson (Vicki) of Springdale, AR, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.

David's fear of heights was so great that he would not get on an airplane or get close to a balcony, for that matter. Now he is fearlessly flying high, watching over and protecting his family and friends.

Celebration of life services are pending.
