David Lonzo Starkey, 76, of Tontitown, Arkansas, passed away Sunday, March 20, 2022 at his home.  He was born February 12, 1946, in Olvey, Arkansas, the son of the late James Woodrow and Irene Luellen Starkey.  He had worked as a Livestock and Poultry Inspector for the State of Arkansas and was of the Baptist faith.  He enjoyed working with cattle, studying about horses, especially cutting horses, and attending rodeos.

He is survived by two sons, Travis Starkey and Justin Starkey; one brother, James Starkey; one sister, Sharon Huff, five grandchildren including Kodi Starkey and Kaci Starkey, and a host of nieces and nephews.

A Celebration Life will be Saturday, April 2, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. at 2810 S. Barrington Road, (David Starkey's Barn), Tontitown, Arkansas.  A graveside service will be Monday, April 4, 2022, at 1:00 P.M. at Maplewood Cemetery, Harrison.
