David A Stakley, 62, of Fayetteville, Arkansas, passed away Sunday, December 10, 2023 at Regency Hospital with his children by his side. He was born July 11, 1961 in Saint Joseph, Michigan to Robert and Betty Burrows Stakley. David was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Donalee Watson and one brother Charles Evens.

David loved the simple things in life like watching Michigan football, riding on his moped, coloring, taking walks on his brother's beach, listening to good old rock and roll while going for car rides. David loved spending time with his family and friends, he was the happiest when he was surrounded by all three of his kids. He also loved spending time with his grandkids and watching his granddaughter play softball. He absolutely hated vegetables and always ate fried chicken. David loved where he worked and who he worked with at Popeyes Fried Chicken in Fayetteville. David was stubborn but had the biggest heart when it came to the ones he loved.

David is survived by two daughters, Carmen Stakley of Fayetteville, Arkansas, Crystal (Jonathon) Blagg of South Bend, Indiana, Zachary (Brandi) Stakley of Peru, Indiana; three grandchildren Destiny, Desiree, and Mikalah; two sisters, Robin Tuka and Diane Murray; one brother, Robert Jr. and numerous nieces and nephews.

Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Memorial Funeral Home. The family will have a private Celebration of Life service at a later date.
