David Michael Oberle passed away March 18, 2025 in Fayetteville, Arkansas. He was born to the late Paul and Diantha Oberle in Flint, Michigan on December 2, 1947. A proud veteran of the United States Air Force, David served as a high-performance fighter jet pilot during the Vietnam War, achieving the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. His love for flying went beyond his military service, and he continued to fly as a private pilot. David cherished his family and took great pride in teaching his son the importance of financial wisdom. He had a deep appreciation for travel and found joy in long drives.

David is survived by his wife Diane Oberle, of the home; son, John-David Paul Oberle of Fayetteville, Arkansas; brother, Paul Oberle and his wife, Angele, of Naples, Florida; sisters, Mary Gotham, of Michigan, Diane Gift, of Arizona; and nephew Brent Oberle and his wife, Krista, of Michigan.
