Darrell Lynn Cousins, 70 of Elm Springs, passed away on Sunday, April 9, 2017 at the Circle of Life Hospice house in Springdale. He was born June 28, 1946 in Japton, Arkansas, the son of Troy and Maggie Williams Cousins. He was of the Church of Christ faith. He had served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He was retired from Cargill in Springdale. Darrell loved working in the yard and gardening, fishing and doing wood work. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Roger and one sister Patsy.

Darrell is survived by his wife of 33 years, Marlene Harvey Cousins. Two sons: Darrell Wayne Cousins and Jason Cousins both of Springdale. One step son and three step daughters. Two brothers: Donald Cousins and Kay of Ball Creek, Arkansas and David Cousins and Marla of Kingston, Arkansas. Three sisters: Bobbie Bolinger of Tontitown, Shirley Walker and Ronnie of Springdale and Janice Bunch and James of Lowell. Nine grandchildren and Two great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M. on Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at Memorial Funeral Home, 3926 Willowood Ave, Springdale, Arkansas 72762. Funeral Services will be at 10:00 A.M. on Wednesdday, April 12, 2017 in the Chapel of Memorial Funeral Home with Reverend Danny Williams officiating. Burial with military honors will immediately follow in Elm Springs Cemetery. Pallbearers will be James Bunch, Ronnie Walker, Michael Lawrence, Rick Stadler, David Huffman and Marty McConnell.
