Darlena Shaver, 82, of Springdale, Arkansas, went to be with the Lord March 3, 2023 in Springdale.  She was born September 26, 1940, in Wharton Creek, Arkansas, the daughter of the late Melvin and Sylvia Reynolds Davis. She had worked as a pharmacy tech for Walmart and was a member of Cross Church in Springdale.  She enjoyed working in her yard and growing flowers, collecting Fenton and clowns, visiting with her neighbors and taking care of her dog, Sadie.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded by her husband, Charles Shaver, in 1999; three brothers: Raymond Reynolds, Charles Davis and Rex Davis; and two sisters: Mary Corter and Wanda Anderson.

Darlena is survived by one step-son, John Shaver and his wife, Barbie, of Huntsville, Arkansas; one step-daughter, LaTresa Shaver, of Springdale, Arkansas; two sisters: Frankie Morgan of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Melva Loper and her husband, Jimmy, of Gravette, Arkansas and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be Thursday, March 9, 2023 at 1:00 P.M. in the chapel of Memorial Funeral Home, 3926 Willowood Avenue, Springdale, Arkansas 72762 with burial to follow in Friendship Cemetery.  Visitation will be Wednesday, March 8, 2023 from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
