Darel Lee Marchant, of Rose, Oklahoma, passed away on March 13, 2025. He was born in Elm Springs, Arkansas November 12, 1938 to the late Ogle and Estella Marchant. Darel was a lifelong resident of Elm Springs. He owned Darel Marchant trucking company. His trucking career also led him to the love of his life, Bettie. The moment he met her, he was captivated, and it wasn't long before they married on June 15, 1984. Together, they blended their families into one. Darel was a devoted father and grandfather who took great pride in his family. He loved watching his grandchildren participating in the rodeo and playing sports. Darel was a member of the rodeo community. He owned Marchant Hills Arena. Darel was preceded in death by his sister, Roberta Smith; brothers, Eldon Machant, Cecil Marchant; and son, Dan Marchant.

Darel is survived by his wife, Bettie Marchant, of the home; children, Ed Marchant, of Elm Springs, Arkansas, Bo Parmain and his wife, Rayanne, of Huntsville, Arkansas, Rick Marchant and his wife, Jennifer, of Noel, Missouri, Bobbie Blackbird and her husband, Robert, of Rose, Oklahoma, Heather Sizemore and her husband, Scott, of Hindsville, Arkansas; 13 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and many other family, friends, and neighbors.

Darel's presence will be deeply missed but forever remembered by those who knew and loved him. His legacy of hard work, love, and community will live on in the hearts of many.
