Clyde Burton Neil, 94, of Springdale, Arkansas passed away on October 22, 2020 at Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale, Arkansas. He was born on September 3, 1926 in Lowell, Arkansas, to Horace and Nina Cowan Neil. He is preceded in death by his parents, granddaughter, Sarah Ross, three brothers, Hayden Neil, Lindell Neil, and Vaughn Neil, and two sisters, Eva Louise Neil and Bettye Neil McDaniel. Clyde served in the United States Army from 1942-1946. He was a member of Cross Church in Springdale since the 1950s. He spent the majority of his career building custom homes and cabinets and build almost anything with wood. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, uncle, cousin, and friend who will be missed dearly.
Clyde is survived by his wife of 73 years, Grace Straight Neil, who he married on October 3rd, 1947; son, Mark Neil (Jaquita) of Springdale; daughter, Vicki Ross (Randy) of Bentonville; granddaughter, Jessie Bishop (Jesse) of Fayetteville; grandson, Josh Neil (Jordan) of Rogers; one great-grandson, Ryder Bishop; and one great-granddaughter, Kennedy Grace Bishop, both of Fayetteville, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Graveside service will be 2:00PM, Monday, October 26, 2020 at Benton County Memorial Park Cemetery in Rogers with Reverend Charlie Foster officiating under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home of Springdale. No visitation is scheduled.
