Charles William "Corky" Swearingen, age 75 of Springdale, passed away on October 5, 2016 in Springdale. He was born October 30, 1940 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa to the late Leland Bud and Lois Loraine Point Swearingen. Corky was of the Baptist faith and truly enjoyed his time in Church. He was a retired truck driver for Jones Truck Line in Springdale.

Corky is survived by one son, Daryl Swearingen and his wife Jenny of Springdale. One daughter, Sondra Swearingen of Oklahoma. Two brothers: Gary Swearingen and his wife Georgeanne of Fayetteville and Jim Swearingen and his wife Janice of Springdale and one sister, Pam Castillo and her husband Roy of Springdale.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. until 12:00 P.M. on Friday, October 7, 2016 at the chapel of Memorial Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 P.M. at Shady Grove Cemetery in Springdale.
