Charles Otis Holson, 74, of Duncan, Oklahoma, passed away January 06, 2022. He was born July 16, 1947 in Reedley, California to the late William Holson and Maudine Henington. Charles was of the Christian faith and he had served in the United States Army and was a veteran of the Korean and Vietnam wars. He was a member of the VFW Post 1192 in Duncan, Oklahoma and a member of the Flat Cam Car Club. Charles was preceded in death by his parents; son, Michael Holson; brother, Billy Holson and sister, Wanda Rowland.

He is survived by his wife Anita Holson of the home; children, Charley Holson and his wife Kelley of Union City, Missouri, Ray Holson and his wife Carrie of Wheeler, Arkansas, Paula Floria of Temple, Oklahoma; brothers, Robert Holson of Siloam Springs, Arkansas,  Elmer Holson of Siloam Springs, Arkansas, Jimmy Hancock, John Hancock and Hanky Hancock all of California, Eugene Pillow of Branson, Missouri; sisters, Linda Whitmore and Irene Goudgbh both of North Platt, Nebraska, Teresa Phillips and Suzie Goddard both of Montana, Peeper Franke of Nebraska; grandchildren, Sara, Robert, Abi, Carson, Camden, Colby and Matthew, and one great grandchild, Korra.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 A.M., Friday, January 14, 2022 in the chapel of Memorial Funeral Home, 3926 Willowood Avenue, Springdale, Arkansas 72762 with Reverend Dan Standifer officiating. Burial with military honors will be at 11:30 A.M. at the Fayetteville National Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M. on Thursday, January 13, 2022 at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Robert White, Brent Wade, Josh Holson, Eddie Johnson, Brent Downum, Buck Downum and Dale Downum. Honorary pallbearers will be Kelby Alvarez and Cord Alvarez.
