Carolyn Sue Drain, 78-year-old resident of Springdale, Arkansas passed on to be with her husband, Roy, and her heavenly father, Jesus Christ, on September 18, 2026. She was born in Prairie Grove, Arkansas on March 21, 1948 to the late, Wesley and Marie Sowell. She is survived by her daughter, Beverly Draper and Donald of Springdale, Arkansas; granddaughter, Alexus ‘Lexi’ Draper of Springdale, Arkansas; sister-in-law, Donna Sowell of Fayetteville, Arkansas; cousin, Paul Sowell and Florence of Conway, Arkansas; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Drain; son, Ronnie Drain; sisters, Jayne Thompson, Janet Ellis, Connie Gregory; and brother, Myron ‘Bud’ Sowell. Carolyn graduated from Springdale Highschool in 1966. She was a member of Friendship Baptist Church in Springdale, where she found her second forever home. Carolyn found God and was baptized in 2017. She enjoyed spending her time with crochet and embroidery, she also enjoyed watching NHRA racing.

Burial will be at Friendship Cemetery with no graveside services.
