Carl Leo Hooks, 94 went to be with his heavenly Lord Tuesday, January 21, 2025 at the Veterans Healthcare of the Ozarks in Fayetteville. He was born January 11, 1931 in Corning, Arkansas the son of Warren A. Hooks and Dolpha Lindsey Hooks. He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Geneva Dunaway, Lucille Dunaway and Retha Hooks; brothers, LT Hooks, Jerald Hooks and William Hooks. He attended Bethel Heights Church of the Nazarene.

Survivors include his loving wife of 71 years, Jean Hooks of the home; son, Harold Hooks & wife Fran; daughters, Janet Worley & husband Tom and Tammy O'Hearn & husband Greg, brothers, Eldon Hooks and Lonnie Hooks; sister, Velma Thompson; 8 grandchildren & 12 great-children; Jason/Cheyanne Woods (Hudson, Annleigh), Angie/Stewart Parsons (Hayden, Cambree), Tony/Jen Hooks (AJ), Pam/Ron Sweeney (Sylas, Millie), Andy/Jordan Hooks (Emma), Shelby/Ever Cuellar (Amelia, Eleanor), Julia/Patrick Buschow (Graham, Baker), & Megan/Tyler Berger, extended family Jarvis/Betty Teague, Donnie McDonald, John/Janie Claypool and many nieces & nephews. Carl's greatest treasures were his loving family and lifelong marriage to Jean.

Funeral service will be 12:00 Saturday, January 25, 2025 at Bethel Heights Church of the Nazarene at 135 E Hwy 264, Springdale, AR 72762. Burial will follow at Friendship Cemetery in Springdale under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home with military honors. The family will receive friends from 11:00 until time of service at the church.
