Obituary

Billy Joe Alexander, 57, of Springdale, Arkansas went to be with Jesus, October 6, 2021.  He was born May 12, 1964 in Plymouth North Carolina to Warren Alexander and Norma Flynn Alexander of Creswell, NC.  Joe grew up riding the big John Deere Farm Combine, and the occasional driving it off in the ditch. His hobby was collecting Matchbox "Hotwheels" – big rigs, dump trunks and RV's. 'BOYS and their toys" He may have been 57 but still a young boy in heart loving his toys.  He found Jesus in 1990 and was never the same. His hunger to share Jesus grew daily.  He would share with anyone who would listen even in Walmart.  In finding his Hebrew roots, (after all Jesus was Jewish- and a Rabbi) He attended House of David located in Fairland Ok. He was looking forward to a trip to Scotland next year to spread the gospel.  He was preceded in death By His Father Warren; his Mother Norma; his sisters – Norma Davenport, Daisy Armstrong; brother Jackie Alexander and nephew Jamie Modlin.

He is survived by his wife Carol Alexander; his fur baby "Coco"; his sisters- Linda Spear (Archie) of Creswell, NC; Becky Spear (Bobby) of Creswell, NC, Teresa Hayes of Edenton, NC; Tena Jones (Rip) of Hertford, NC; brothers: Warren Jr (Joyce) of Elizabeth City NC; Floyd (June) of Edenton, NC; Leroy (Frances) of Edenton, NC; Timmie of Hertford, NC.  He is also survived by additional close family members: Steve & Jeannine Hoeft; Toni Hill; Dale & Patty Merritt; Bryan Long and Brian Snell; House of David- NWA Care Group & Pastor Dale & Lucy Van Volkenburg.

A Celebration of Life Service will be Wednesday, October 13, 2021 at 1:00 P.M. at Memorial Funeral Home, 3926 Willowood Avenue, Springdale, Arkansas 72762 with Rabbi Curt Landry officiating.

Mar 26, 2019, right after his mother died and he realized he wasn't able to go to her funeral he received this from the Holy Spirit. No matter what you see or no matter what you hear or no matter how things appear, Speak only my word of truth over it.
