IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Betty Arlene
Ward
May 28, 1937 – May 24, 2021
Betty Arlene Ward, 83, a loving "Child of King Jesus", Mother and Grandmother, went to be with the Lord on May 24, 2021. She was born May 28, 1937 in Cold Springs, Oklahoma, daughter of the late Joseph Weldon and AD Hethcock. She graduated from Farmington High School in 1955. Betty was a factory worker and was an usher for the Arkansas Razorbacks athletics. She was a long time member of White Rock Church in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Betty had a passion for serving Jesus and she would definitely let you know. She didn't have to be in a church house to have church, she could have it anywhere at any time. She loved to go fishing with others as long as they would go to church with her on Sunday. She enjoyed going on field trips to watch geese, spending time with her family and she always let them know they were worth "more than a million dollars". She was known for her quick wit, infectious laugh and her kind and compassionate spirit. Betty was preceded in death by her parents, siblings and one daughter, Patricia Ann Davenport.
She is survived by one daughter, Linda Gail Ward: grandchildren; Bradley Ward and wife, Sandra, Jamie Peal, Terra Brace, Tiffany Davis and husband, Lenny, Sarah Costa and husband, Michael, Allisa Coleman and husband, James; great grandchildren; Khira Ward, McKenzy Ward, Eli Davenport, Chelsi Brace, Timothy Brace, Jr., and several friends and family who loved her very much.
