Bertha Nancy Watson, 96, of Springdale, Arkansas, went to be with the Lord May 20, 2019 in Springdale. She was born January 18, 1923, in Swain, Arkansas, the daughter of the late Robert and Dessie Miers Edgmon. She had worked as a cook for many years at A.Q. Chicken Products Kitchen in Springdale. She enjoyed gardening, growing flowers and going to yard sales. She is preceded by her husband, Virgil B. Watson, in 1980.

Mrs. Watson is survived by two sons: Reverend Ben Watson and wife, Gladys, of Tahlequah, Oklahoma and Dennis Watson of Springdale, Arkansas; one daughter, Jenny Kaufman and husband, David, of Pittsburg, Kansas; one sister: Rosa Clark, of Stark City, Missouri; two grandchildren: Nathan Kaufman of Pittsburg, Kansas and Sarah Marshall of Conroe, Texas; one great grandchild, Elijah Marshall of Conroe, Texas, many nieces and nephews and a host of friends.

Funeral service will be Saturday, May 25, 2019 at 12:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Memorial Funeral Home, 3926 Willowood Avenue, Springdale, Arkansas 72762 with the Reverend Ben Watson officiating. Burial will follow in Friendship Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. until service time.
