Barbara Lou Powell, of Prairie Grove, Arkansas, passed away December 25, 2018, in Prairie Grove. She was born July 1, 1933 in Phoenix, Arizona, the daughter of Merrill and Ellen Burreus Westfall. She had worked as a secretary for the United States Government.

She is survived by one daughter Leslie Cox and her husband, Barry, of Prairie Grove and four grandchildren: Kelsey Cox, Ashley Cox, Cameron Cox and Grayson Balding.

Private Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Memorial Funeral Home, 3926 Willowood Avenue, Springdale, Arkansas 72762.
