Armando Hernández Silva, de Rogers, Arkansas, falleció el 22 de mayo de 2026,rodeado de su amada familia. Armando nació el 13 de Febrero de 1962 en Valle Hermoso, México, hijo de Guadalupe Hernández y María Ortiz Silva. A Armando le encantaba pasar tiempo con sus nietos y encontraba gran alegría organizando parrilladas y reuniones familiares. Sentía pasión por cocinar a la parrilla y se le daba muy bien preparar deliciosas sopas y carnes asadas. Entre sus numerosos pasatiempos también se incluían la pesca, jugar al dominó, el senderismo, y disfrutar de una bebida ocasional y de alguna visita al casino. Armando será recordado con mucho cariño y su ausencia será profundamente sentida por todos aquellos que lo conocieron y amaron.
A Armando le precedieron en la muerte sus padres y su hermano, Guadalupe Hernández. Le sobreviven su esposa, con quien compartió más de 30 años de vida, Arcelia Silva Guerra, de Rogers; sus hijos, Armando Hernández Jr. (Marissa), de Johnson; Jorge Hernández, de Springdale; y Marquiz Hernández, de Rogers; sus hijastros, Santiago Cura, Johnny Cura y Ricardo Curo; su hijastra, María Salis; sus nietos, Arianna Hernández, Arlo Hernández, Draven Cura y Katelyn Cura; así como numerosos amigos y familiares.
Se llevará a cabo un velorio en la capilla de la funeraria Memorial Funeral Home en Springdale el viernes 29 de mayo a las 2:00 p. m., seguido de un servicio conmemorativo a las 3:00 p. m.
Armando Hernandez Silva, of Rogers, Arkansas, passed away on May 22, 2026 surrounded by his loving family. Armando was born on February 13, 1962, in Valle Hermoso, Mexico, to the late Guadalupe Hernandez and Maria Ortiz Silva. Armando loved spending time with his grandchildren and found joy in hosting cookouts and family gatherings. He had a passion for cooking and was good at making delicious soups. His many hobbies also included fishing, playing dominos, hiking, and the occasional drink and trip to the casino. Armando will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by those who knew and loved him.
Armando was preceded in death by his brother, Guadalupe Hernandez. He is survived by his wife of over 30 years, Arcelia Silva Guerra of Rogers; sons, Armando Jr. Hernandez (Marissa) of Johnson, Jorge Hernandez of Springdale, Marquiz Hernandez of Rogers; step-sons, Santiago Cura, Johnny Cura, Ricardo Curo; step-daughter, Maria Salis; grandchildren, Arianna Hernandez, Arlo Hernandez, Draven Cura, and Katelyn Cura; as well as many friends and family.
