Obituary

Annie Laurie Williamson, age 101, of Springdale, Arkansas, passed into the arms of her Lord and Savior, Monday, August 26, 2019. Annie was born May 30, 1918, in Larned, Kansas, the daughter of Arthur and Eleanor Wilson. She was a faithful member of Cross Church Springdale and a devoted Christian. She eloped with Clyde Williamson on June 19, 1936. While Clyde served in the United States Army, the family lived on four continents over the course of 25 years. Following retirement, they traveled extensively in the United States. She was preceded by her husband of 71 years; her parents; and sons Perry and Kane.

Left to cherish her loving memory are her children: Kim Craig Williamson and wife, Hilary, of Santa Barbara, Douglas Williamson and wife, Judy, Kaye Yocham and husband, Martin, Kristy DeLozier and husband, Michael, Denise Smith and husband, Charlie, all of Springdale; brothers: Arthur Wilson and Robert Wilson; 10 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be Friday, August 30, 2019 at 10:00 A.M. at Fayetteville National Cemetery under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home, 3926 Willowood Avenue, Springdale, Arkansas 72762. Visitation will be Thursday, August 29, 2019 from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Memphis , Tennessee.
