Aften Martin, age 90, of Springdale, Arkansas, went to be with her Lord on June 18, 2016 in Springdale. She was born June 14, 1926, in Mount Levi, Arkansas, the daughter of Harrison D. and Nora Sanderson Griffith. She was a homemaker, a woman of prayer and a great witness of Jesus Christ. She was preceded by her husband, Haskel Martin and three sisters: Goldie Elery, Gracie Chronister, and Joy Fanning.

Mrs. Martin is survived by one son, Charles Martin and his wife, Joyce, of Springdale; one brother, Sidney Griffith, of Springdale; two sisters: Merle Cleaver of Colorado and Georgia Royce of Springdale; one grandson, Neal Hepler and his wife, Molly; one granddaughter, Kortney Hepler; one great grandson, Tyler Hepler; several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Tuesday, June 21, 2016 from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. at Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Wednesday, June 22, 2016 at 10:00 A.M. at Memorial Funeral Chapel with Brother Dorsey Martin and Brother Rusty Martin officiating. Burial will follow in Friendship Cemetery in Springdale.
